MTI participation at the 6th International Fair of arms and military equipment
At the 6th International Fair of arms and military equipment "Partner 2013", that was held under the patronage of MoD of the Republic of Serbia, at the Belgrade Fair, from 25.06. until 28.06.2013., Military Technical Institute presented more than 50 items of armament and military equipment from current research and development program.
At the "PARTNER 2013" as exhibitors and co-exhibitors have participated: 92 scientific, research, development, repair and related institutions of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, the manufacturers of weapons and equipment from home and abroad, trade and representative companies, etc.
Military Technical Institute presented itself with several ongoing assets: short and long range UAVs, aircraft "Lasta", an automated self-propelled howitzer "SORA" self-propelled multi-tube modular rocket launcher "Morava", switching centers from an integrated communication system of armed forces, etc. Also, for the first time, the following assets were presented: logistics vehicle for the LRSVM system, earth station for a long range UAV, frequency direction finder "HERA", mobile switching node of the battalion commander, mobile battalion level inter-station, shooting set with radio control equipment, towing device and the device for heavy target identification, as well as modernized systems - missile system for air defence "KUB M" and P-12 radar.
In addition to the exhibition program, Military Technical Institute has taken significant participation at the accompanying program during which MTI members presented three lectures, related to the experience of researchers in the development of complex armament systems: "Artillery systems automatization", "Establishment of electronic display of battle in the VF frequency range" and "The possibility of ordnance application of pressed and cast PBX explosives".
During the four days of the fair, MTI stand visited a significant number of official delegations of MoD and Armies from abroad, also numerous domestic guests and visitors from around the world.
