MO Dragan Sutanovac, State Secretary Tanja Miscevic and a delegation of ambassadors and military attaches pay a visit to the Military Technical Institute
Minister Sutanovac 23 January 2012. visited Military Technical Institute in Zarkovo with ambassadors and military attachés accredited in Serbia. After a welcome address by Director of the Military Technical Institute Colonel Zoran Rajic and short presentations on the work and research and development projects of MTI, the defense minister with the delegation visited the laboratory for textiles, leather and footwear in the Department of Materials and protection and Treesonic wind tunnel T-38 in Sector for Experimental Aerodynamics.
The visit was dedicated to the perception of capacity of the Military Technical Institute.
- In the past, MTI has developed over 1300 products that are multi-functional value for the Serbian army, and civilian. In the past few years, every year we have invested money with the desire for MTI to be leader not only in the region but also beyond, underlined Sutanovac. He said the defense system this year with a reduced budget, plans to invest about 20 million noting that the biggest export projects that are developed in Serbia run at the facility.
On 24 January 2012. State Secretary Tanja Miscevic with ambassadors and military attachés visited Military Technical Institute in Zarkovo. Programme of this visit was the same as the first day of visit.
