Guide for Authors
Scientific Technical Review publishes original scientific papers, review papers and short communications. The journal welcomes papers from a wide range of countries. Articles should present original scientific or professional contributions reporting a complete research work leading to the understanding and application of knowledge based on theoretical, experimental or computational approaches. Papers combining theory and experiments or combining basic and applied research are very welcome. The Journal anchorages papers from young researchers. Contributions are invited in all areas pertaining to: ·Military technical science and technologies ·Mechanical engineering ·Electrical engineering ·Electronic engineering ·Applied and industrial mathematics ·Mechanics ·Computer technology ·Telecommunication and information technologies ·Materials and chemical technologies ·Mechatronics ·Automation and control engineering
Essential information of writing paper All manuscripts must contain the essential elements needed to convey the manuscript: Title, Author names and affiliations, Corresponding author, Abstract, Keywords, Main text and References. Title. Authors should avoid abbreviations and formulae where possible. Title should be concise and informative. Authors name and affiliations. Clearly indicate the given name(s) and family name(s) of each author. Present the author’s affiliation addresses below the names. Provide the full postal address of each affiliation, including the country name and e-mail address of each author. Clearly indicate corresponding author. Abstract and Keywords. A concise and factual abstract not exceeding 150 words in length is required. Formulas should be avoided within the abstract. Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum 6 keywords. Authors from Serbia should provide Title, Abstract and Keywords in Serbian. Main text. There are no strict formatting requirements. Manuscript should be written in one column with one line spacing and 2 cm margins. Divide your article into clear section. Sections should not be numbered. Each heading should appear on its own separate line. Figures have to be numbered and ensure that each figure has a caption. Number the illustrations according to their sequence in the text. Figures should be imported into the text and also separately supplied as original graphics files. Convert the images to TIFF or JPG format and always use a minimum of 300 dpi. Tables have to be placed next to the relevant text in the paper and numbered consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text. Please submit tables as editable text and not as image. The width of illustrations and tables is restricted to the width of 8.5 cm, or in special cases, when clearness is not possible otherwise to the width of 16.5 cm. Equation numbers should appear in round brackets and be numbered consecutively. All equations numbers must appear on the right-hand side of the equation and should be referred to within the text. Vectors and tensors should be marked clearly on the manuscript. References. Indicate references by numbers in square brackets in line with the text. Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list. Number reference in the list in order in which they appear in the text. There are no strict requirements on reference formatting at submission. Reference can be in any style or format as long as the style is consistent. Where applicable, author(s) name(s), journal title/book title, chapter title/article title, year of publication, volume number/book chapter and the article number or pagination must be presented. Use of DOI is highly encouraged. If you use reference management software, please use one the standard styles of referencing. All articles are peer reviewed. Contributions are initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal. Papers deemed suitable are sent to a minimum of two independent reviewers to evaluate the quality of the paper. The Editorial Board is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of papers. Please list the names and contact details of minimum 2 reviewers who are expert in the topic that your paper covers. Submission of papers.
