HEAT TRANSFER DURING THE IGNITION OF SO-LID-PROPELLANT ROCKET ENGINES
Lemić Dragan
The most important process during the ignition of rocket engines is heat transfer to solid propellant. The heat transfer process has been tested for flow-type igniters. Dependences betweeen heat transfer coefficients and di-fferent igniters and rocket engines have been obtained. The proposed formulae can be applied in mathematical models for the calculation of ignition process.
