Abstract: With the aim of improvement of domestic methodology of chemical stability control, a comparison was carried out of the stabilizer depletion according SORS 8069/91 in naturally aged of NC powder stored under the continental climate conditions in collection KB-1 (Kragujevac) and under the Mediterranean climate conditions in collection KB-2 (Sasovici) with the stabilizer depletion in the same type of NC powder artificially aged in different time-temperature test loads according actual NATO standard AOP-48 Ed. 2. So, the aim of these researches was modification of AOP-48 Ed.2 extrapolation expressions by introduction of real storage conditions of naturally aged NC powder from KB-1 under the continental and KB-2 under the Mediterranean climate, instead of AOP-48 Ed. 2 conditions, 10 years at 25°C. By analyzing the results of stabilizer depletion, possibility of applying of standard AOP-48 Ed.2 to the NC powder of domestic production stored 15 and 25 years in collections KB-1 and 15 years in KB-2 collection, was verified. Exceptions are NC powder stored 25 years in KB-2 collection because of faster dynamics of their decomposition under the Mediterranean climate conditions. Keywords: nitrocellulose powder, chemical stability, continental climate, Mediterranean climate, liquid chromatography.
