Abstract: Modern multi sensor surveillance systems integrate several multispectral imaging channels, laser range finder and positioning sensors (digital magnetic compass – north finding sensor and GPS sensor). Sensor data fusion provides own position determination and also selected target position determination. The imaging channel parameters that have an influence on the measurement data accuracy are identified. Some basic properties of the zoom lenses are described. The role of the system sensor channel bore sighting is discussed. The role of the line of sight reticle shape definition and integration with image is analyzed. The system calibration procedures providing reliable parameters for reticle integration with imaging system using zoom lenses are described. Keywords: Surveillance systems, multi sensor system bore sightings, reticle integration, imaging system calibration.
