Spectrophotometric properties of PVB/WS2 thin films

Abstract: The
reinforcing effect of tungsten disulfide nanostructures in different polymer
composites has already been proven, and poly(vinyl butyral), PVB, is among
these polymers. In this research spectrophotometric properties,
transmittance and diffuse reflection, were observed for thin film coatings
of PVB on glass plates, made by solvent-casting technique, containing
different concentrations of fullerene-like nanoparticles and multiwall
nanotubes of WS2.
