 Abstract: This paper presents temperature contrast enhacements processing technique applied on measurement results obtained on an aluminum test plate by using IR video thermography in pulsed defectoscopy. Noise reduction is obtained by Wiener filtering method and results are compared by convetional processing techniques. The comparative results of temperature contrast filtering on the test plate surface: basic harmonic, mean value and Wiener filter of IR pixels along the central line, are given.
