THE INFLUENCE OF THE MUZZLE VELOCITY VECTOR ON THE EVALUATION OF THE GUNFIRE PRECISION

Abstract: Muzzle velocity vector are represented as characteristic output parameter of the analysis of complex projectile motion through barrel, regarding to bore wear approach. The evaluation of the gunfire precision is the one of the main parameters for the criteria determination of the gun barrel condition estimation. In this paper are presented the trajectory simulations and the analysis of the pattern, based on several possible variants of the muzzle velocity vector. The limited values of the components of the muzzle velocity vector are defined according to the size of the dispersion pattern, as the criterion for the gun barrel condition evaluation, regarding to the resource of exploitation.
