Customer Oriented Aircraft Maintenance Support

Abstract: The essay introduces the modern maintenance system for aircraft and its new developing trend. By focused discussions and analysis on modern maintenance concept, the reliability centered maintenance, total life and total system support, are iterated with summarization of their characteristics and advantages. Furthermore, it describes the cooperation between military users and industry such as performance based logistical support, fleet maintenance digital management and virtual maintenance training as they are more and more popular and welcomed by both side. These maintenance concept and service are critical part of today’s maintenance support for the aircraft users. Finally as illustration, the customer-tailored service support for K8 users on maintenance aspects is detailed introduced.
