Contribution to analysis of stress state at points around elliptic opening in an in-plane stressed orthotropic plate

The paper discusses modified expressions for the calculation of additional stress tensor components at points around elliptic openings in the case of equal or closes values of complex parameters of the orthotropic plate because the procedure given in Ref. [1] can not be applied for these cases.
For e.g., this is the case of the frequently used quasiisotropic stacking sequence of the multilayer plate.
In that way, the procedure of calculating the stress state around elliptic openings in an in-plane stressed plate is enabled for any orthotropic stacking sequence.
