Determination of the values
of the point and interval estimation of the Weibull distribution parameters

This paper presents a method of quantiles for
determining the point and interval estimates of the parameters of the
two-parameter Weibull distribution. The averaged values of these parameters are
determined on the basis of single estimates of these parameters for various
values of the Weibull distribution function F(t).
In order to facilitate the computation of the values of these interval estimated
parameters, the paper gives the tables of numerical values of the coefficients
for the confidence limits of the Weibull distribution parameters. The practical
application of the proposed method is illustrated by two examples.
