GAUSSIAN APPROXIMATION OF THE FORM OF THE SPACE DISTRIBUTION LAW CONCERNING HE PROJECTILE FRAGMENTS
Vukašinović Miroljub A completely new approach in analyzing the form of the HE projectile space distribution law has been given. The complex geometrical form of the space distribution of fragments of a genuine projectile shell has been approximated by a sequence of the Gaussian curves. The established mathematical model enables the design of the middle direction of fragments desintegration, the width of side shafts and the proportional share of every fragment in particular. The mathematical model is based on solving the system of fifteen non linear equations, the solution of which cannot be found in the analytical form, so modified numerical methods have been applied.
