CYLINDRICAL LOADED ARRAYS AND THEIR APPLICATION IN THE VHF RANGE

Theoretical bases of the analysis and the synthesis of broadband cylindrical loaded antenna arrays have been treated as well as their application in the VHF range in military communications. Thin cylindrical arrays with loads can be very interesting for practical use. By adequate choice of loads and their distribution along the array, the obtained array acquires broadband characteristics concerning the input impedance, radiation pattern and some other characteristics.
