IMPORTANCE OF MODERN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE CONTROL OF TRANSPORTATION PROCESSES AND TRANSPORT IN CORPS OPERATIONS

The control of processes of transportation support in corps operations was analysed as well as the possibilities to apply modern information technologies in the transportation support system control. Since trans-portation support belongs to a group of organization systems of a complex, hierarchical structure and high entropy, appropriate measures for entropy reduction are necessary to be undertaken. A high-quality system control at war is possible if peacetime preparations provide its successful functioning with as less changes as possible. This can be achieved by planned improvement of the transportation system-modern equipment, state-of-the-art technologies and improved standards.
