HEAT RESISTANT COA-TINGS CHARACTERIZATION AND APPLICATION

Thermic properties of organic coatings have been presented related to high temperature resistance as well as their protective properties related to the surface they are applied to the class of intumescent coating has been analysed in particular. The paper gives the method of thermoinsulating properties testing, the formulation and the results of testing laboratory samples of four types of intumescent coatings.
