EFFECTS OF SHIP GLASS SURFACE SLOPES ON REF-LECTION, ABSORPTION AND PENETRATION OF SOLAR RADIATION

Solar radiation reaching a ship glass surface is partly reflected, partly absorbed by glass and a part penetrates through the glass. Reflection, absorption and penetration of solar radiation through ship glass surfaces depend on the following factors: geographic position of the ship location, ship orientation, position of the glass surface on the ship, position of the Sun in a particular moment, intensity of direct and diffuse solar radiation, solar radiation reflection, glass type and thickness, etc.
