Wind tunnel tests were conducted on basic finner model at Mach numbers 0.2 to 2.0. Pitch-damping test mechanism based on small amplitude, forced-oscillation technique, was used for obtaining stability derivatives of the model at angles of attack up to 20 degrees. The pitch-damping derivatives were found to be highly non-linear function of angle of attack. Due to reasonable high interest of measurement of dynamic stability derivatives in the trisonic wind tunnel T-38 in MTI1), wind tunnel test were conducted for investigation and verification pitch/yaw damping test mechanism. Tests results are compared with other experimental sources and calculated results.
