SOME AERODYNAMIC PROBLEMS DUE TO THE PASSING OF HIGH SPEED TRAINS IN TUNNELS

Some of aerodynamic nonstationary phenomena due to the train speed increase in tunnels are treated in the paper, and, in particular, pressure fluctuations due to shock waves and shock wave reflection from tunnel walls, measured on tunnel walls and on trains as well as inside trains passing each other in a tunnel.
