EXPERIMENTAL DETERMINATION OF DETONATION PARAMETERS OF SOME CAST EXPLOSIVE MIXTURES

Some modern methods for the determination of detonation parameters – the electromagnetic method with pulse magnetic field and the method with a low-ohmic manganine probe – were applied to determine detonation characteristics of TNT – based cast explosives and elastic explosives based on hexogen, octogen and polyurethane elastomere and charged by casting. The paper focuses on the effects of the composition, structure and physicochemical properties of explosive charges on the structure of deteonation waves and the values of their basic parametres.
