COORDINATE INDEXING OF DOCUMENTS Dagica Terzić The paper deals with theoretical and practical aspects of coordinate indexing of documents, intensively used in automated systems for retrieval of scientific and technological information. The relation between the descriptor language for information retrieval, used in the process of coordintate indexing, and other information retrieval language for information retrieval, used in the process of coordinate indexing, and other information retrieval languages has been given in detail. The following terms: key word, descriptor and identifier have been defined as well as auxiliary tools used in the process of coordinate indexing and instructions for coordinate indexing.
