THE DEVICE FOR MEASUREMENTS AT THE AIRCRAFT COMPRESSORS ENTERING CROSS SECTION

The flow cell is a device for measuring flow ratio and flow quality. It is usually used for testing the intake models of turbojet aircraft. Those tests are performed under laboratory conditions in wind tunnels. The following parameters are measured in testing air intakes by the flow cell: mass flow – flow ratio at the compressors entering cross section, pressure ratio, pressure distribution at the compressors entering cross section and the model internal drag.
