PHLEGMATIZATION OF HEXOGEN BY THE MIXTURE OF CERESIN AND STEARIN

Nine mixtures of phlegmatizers with different mass fractions of ceresin and stearin (CEST) have been prepared and analysed. The phlegmatization of hexogen (RDX) has been performed by the CEST 70/30 mixture, applying different technological procedures. The obtained samples of phlegmatized hexogen have been characterized physico-chemically as well as thermo-chemically. The results of testing prepared phlegmatizers have been described as well as the choice of phlegmatization mixture, technological procedures of phlegmatization and the results of testing samples of phlegmatized hexogen.
