Military Technical Institute nominated for the awards of the Belgrade Book Fair

 

 

 

 

Military Technical Institute (VTI) also paticipates at the Belgrade Book Fest and exposes its tecnhical publications at the stand of the “Center for Promotion of Science RS”.

 

Right with the support of  the “Center for Promotion of Science RS” as well as of the University of Defence, the Military Technical Institute has been nominated in two categories for the awards which the Belgrade Book Fair awards this year:

Editor of the year – for the complete editorial activity in 2014 and

Editorial undertaking of the year – separately the monographic series, separately the book.

 

In relation to that, as a part of the Belgrade Book Fair program, in the hall “Belgrade Fair” on Wednesday, October 29th at 13:00, VTI held the promotion of its nominated editions:

 

 Monographic series, of М42 category, Scientific-technical information:

  • Mine countermeasure armed systems for mine hunting in rivers;

  • Coordinate metrology and manufacturing of complex spatial forms with applications to the aerodynamic surfaces;

  • Application of thin-layered activated charcoal sorption materials in personal chemical, biological and radiological equipment;

  • Application of the patent documentation at designing the weaponry and military equipment means.

 

and the book:

  • Rocket engines with solid propellant– selected chapters.

 

The nominated editions of the VTI have been presented by Miroslav Jandric, Srdjan Zivkovic PhD, Radovan Karkalic PhD, Obrad Cabarkapa PhD and Nikola Gligorijevic PhD, with the presence of the interested guests.

 

Anyway, the VTI publishes three series publications in continuity for a lot of decades:

  • SCIENTIFIC TECHNICAL REVIEW – magazine,

  • SCIENTIFIC-TECHNICAL INFORMATION – monographic series and

  • ARMAMENT DATA– factographic monographic series

with the successful and rich cooperation with the authors from the country and from abroad.
